Hiking to Akchour Waterfall or God’s bridge is recommended to anyone staying a couple of days in Chefchaeoun. We chose to see the Akchour waterfalls without a guide. We took a Grand taxi costing 25 dirhams each (6 people max). Fortunately, we did not have to wait at all for the taxi to fill up. The taxi journey from Chefchaouen took 30mins with beautiful sceneries along the way. There are souvenir stalls and restaurants at the beginning of the hike and also along the way.
There are 2 waterfalls: one big & small. Took us about 50mins to reach the first small waterfall with photo sessions time included and another 1hr from there to the big waterfall. There were a good number of people at the waterfall by the time we reached there but it was not crowded.
It is worth going to see the waterfall if you have time to spare.
