INGREDIENTS:
500 grams (1 pound) chicken breast, cut into cubes
1 green bell peppers, cut into squares
1 red bell peppers, cut into squares
1/4 pineapple, cut into squares
1/2 red onion, cut into squares
1 small pack of wooden skewers
The sauce :
1 garlic clove, grated
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 : The sauce
1- In a large bowl, add the lemon juice, orange juice, soy sauce, pepper, ground ginger, grated garlic, olive oil, honey and mix well.
2- In a container, place the chicken breast pieces along with 1/2 of the amount of the sauce. Place in the fridge and let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 2 : Assembly
1- In a large bowl filled with water, dunk your skewers and let them soak for 30 minutes to avoid burning them when grilling.
2- Remove the skewers from the water.
3- Arrange the chicken pieces and veggies as desired in the skewers.
5- On medium heat, heat a grill pan and brush a little bit of olive oil.
6- Grill your colorful skewers on all sides until the chicken is done.
7- While grilling, make sure to brush additional sauce to keep them moist and further enhance the flavor.
8- Once done, serve immediately.
