I felt somewhat apprehensive during our brisk stroll through the Medina in Tangiers. It was my first visit to an Arab country. And so, I wasn't sure what to expect. Furthermore, the tour guide, whom I sought, was unavailable at the time, so my sis and I had to settle with a substitute instead. In the end, my apprehension was totally unfounded. Moroccans were generally friendly toward tourists, regardless of nationality and religion. But watch out for roaming street vendors! They'd usually mob you and be very persistent in selling their goods to you. :))
